“Rooms clean and the staff was very nice breakfast was ok. Only issue was the air conditioner was leaking water didn't notice tell we left. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel”

“Nice and peaceful. Authentic ranch environment on an open range, with cattle, coyotes in the distance, and a couple of nice barn cats. The quarters are new remodeled. Very clean. Nice place to get away and slow down. Highly recommend this place when in town for A&M functions, or if you need a real getaway from city life. Just a few miles to the campus, and close to the airport as well if you fly charter.”

“Nice, clean room and pet-friendly. A/C window unit is a little loud if you’re not use to having a fan or something blowing at night. It was fine for us, just wanted to mention. Equipped with everything you need from coffee to baking! Cute setup in the cabin. ”

“We really had a great stay. The cabin was very clean. The back porch was our favorite place setting and watching the birds. I would recommend it to everyone. We will certainly go back if we get over there again. ”

“Yard was in disarray. Needed mowing (weeds) and walk way edging was ripped out of place. Windows need actual curtains or shade as those bamboo pulldowns were very see thru. Especially at night with lights on. Next door neighbor dogs came over and harassed my dog (fight I had to break up). Need better fence protection if dogs are around. Trash from previous renters was still in sink can. Almost full when we arrived. We like it overall but had a few smallish issue”

“Was perfect for a weekend getaway with my boys! Lake is only like a 2 minute drive from the house, was a great visit. The master bed was extremely comfortable, I slept great.”

“We loved the location and the property itself was very nice overall. The only downside was that we weren’t able to fully enjoy the peaceful morning view from the back patio. Around 8 a.m thru 10 a.m., lawn maintenance began right as we were making coffee and settling to go outside, which unfortunately disrupted the quiet atmosphere we were looking forward to. We were also concerned watching the mower move in tight circles around our 2026 Tundra and my daughter’s 2024 Kia, as it felt like there...

“The cabin was good, close to College Station where my son was graduating, the dogs loved swimming in the lake and the outside area was great for grilling and playing washers. The only suggestion that I have is that the bedroom near the kitchen needs a split system A/C unit like the others have, it was a little warm.”
